- Firmware 5.68/5.69 Feedback has been very well-received. Lots of positive feedback from social media outlets. The most common issue was the ALP 40.50 firmware issue. If you’re experiencing this, see the 3rd point here.
- Universal Game Packs Release Schedule for the following titles will be November 14th, 2022. All reservation holders will receive game codes via e-mail as well as in their digital lockers for those that have given AtGames your digital locker info.
- New Dr. Seuss tables for Pack 1 will be released Dec. 20, 2022. This first pack will include: How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, The Cat in the Hat and Fox in Socks. Pack 2 release is anticipated to be available during the Summer Sales Event (May-June 2023) and will include these new tables: Green Eggs and Ham, Dr. Seuss’s ABC, oh! the Places You’ll go! and One fish two fish.
- The Sam’s Club Spotting Contest results have been tallied. 3 top picks have been selected by the AtGames team to win a Legends Pinball Micro. The community will vote on a single winner starting Nov. 1st-4th. In addition 23 random winners were selected to win a $20 AtGames e-store discount code. Congratulations to all the winners of this contest!
- The Halloween Contest has also been completed and 20 AtGames e-store winners have been selected. Additionally, congratulations to KROM99 for winning the Legends Pinball Micro and all the other winners!

Firmware Update is Live: v5.68
Firmware v5.68 for all your Legends devices is available for you to install (full release notes below). I’ve been testing it on the ALU/ALP for a few days now.
WTT Notes (unofficial):
- A few things I’ve not been able to test until it went public, primarily the Fixes section below, specifically when the display goes dark or the backglass rotates. For this, you’ll want to update all your table packs (there were updates made available for that last night, 10/26). So far, this is looking good (still testing)
- I also noticed the issue in CoinOpsX when you press C/Z to move up/down a letter has been fixed (not mentioned below, unless that’s part of the Minor UI improvements).
- Also tried logging out and launching CoinOpsX several times and it works perfectly fine, NO NEED TO BE LOGGED IN! This is a big deal for many.
- I’ve not tested OTG on the ALP to confirm the haptics as I’m using the BuyStuffArcades Deluxe haptics kit and have the stock haptics disconnected (if someone else could confirm this, it would be greatly appreciated).
- QuadPlay (QP) support on ALU/Core Max – This has been working great, no issues with the panel itself. For those of you who will be receiving a QuadPlay, you’ll need v5.68 to take full advantage of it’s features and updates. There will be a few games you may try that don’t work, has nothing to do with the QP itself and those games can be fixed with this procedure.
- The Lobby has been added to the ALP, but the Pinball tables are inverted. Not sure where this stands, will update if I hear something.
WTT (new) Notes
- ALP has been sitting on the Amazonia table the entire day (so far), at least 5 hours at this point. The screen hasn’t gone dark nor backglass display rotated.
- In CoinOpsX, you can completely disconnect from the Internet (disconnect WiFi and/or Ethernet), power off/on your ALU and you’ll still see the installed FDX applications under AppStoreX that you previously installed (if you don’t, make sure you power off/on the machine). You can still launch CoinOpsX, play games, etc. while being completely disconnected from the internet.
- OTG with the BSA haptics works fine. In swapping between my Steam Deck and PC, I did need to update my audio settings in the VPX Audio configuration (described here).

- No login requirement for AddOn X/CoinOPSX Login requirement per 5 startups for AddonX/COX apps is removed.
- Lobby introduced on the Legends Pinball and Legends Pinball Micro For the first time, the Lobby has been introduced on the Legends Pinball and Legends Pinball Micro, allowing users to play online multiplayer games and make use of Legends Pinball’s large display.
- New haptic volume slider introduced on Legends Pinball and Legends Pinball Micro It allows for independent haptic volume control in-game with the same ease as the volume control slider in Legends Pinball.
- Added QuadPlay support to Legends devices QuadPlay support has been added for Legends Ultimate 1.1 & 1.2, Legends Core Max, Gamer Pro, Gamer Mini, and Core series.
- Expanded BitLCD support BitLCD now covers Gamer Pro, Gamer Mini, Core/Core-Plus, Core Max, Legends Ultimate, Legends Ultimate Mini, Legends Pinball, and Legends Pinball Micro.
- Added FDX on 16GB devices Now users will be able to use both built in storage and use external FDX as they see fit.
Fixes
- Haptics on the Legends Pinball in OTG mode have been fixed allowing the user to experience haptics on OTG games they own.
- Fixed backglass display issues on Legends Pinball. These issues ranged from incorrectly rotated images to black screens on certain games.
- Fixed Legends Pinball Zaccaria Deluxe game pack issue where the screen may go black after left idle for long periods of time.

The QuadPlay is still on schedule for the originally scheduled November release. However, we will be sending out early access emails to the existing reservation holders on Oct 24th to complete purchase. Delivery may be 2-3 weeks from payment completion. The upcoming 5.68 firmware release on Oct 24th will have the required updates to support the QuadPlay, so be sure to download it to enjoy your QuadPlay!
ALP Micro Status Update
- The ALP Micro is still on schedule for a before Christmas release, 10 December, as announced on NOD-A. However, we are sending out early access emails to the existing reservation holders on October 20 for early delivery in 2-3 weeks after payment.
- There will be a Day One Optimization firmware update we are releasing on Oct 27 greeting new owners when their unit arrives.
- Early release is based on the current pandemic and logistical situation. We will keep you informed if any changes to shipping and production arise.
- Gottlieb Vol 1 and 2 and VIBS free gifts from NOD-A sale will be sent separately. (Est. still December.)

NOD-A 2022 Highlights

When is it? NOD-A 2022 will run from 9/1/2022 9am – 9/5/2022 6pm PT. There will be contest events and prizes. In addition, new partnerships and product announcements.
Very exciting news from AtGames this NOD-A! I’ll just summarize some of the biggies. See the details below for everything that’s known.
- New Pinball Tables to be made available during NOD-A: Natural History Pinball Pack which includes 4 new tables (more details below).
- NEW Legends Pinball Micro pre-order (includes a customized VIBS for the ALP Micro, delivery estimate 12/10 for pre-orders)

New Partnerships
As reported earlier this month, a new partnership with Dr. Seuss Enterprises was announced. Additionally, we have NEW PINBALL TABLES available for purchase at 9am on 9/1 PT (early access only on 9/1) and available to all for purchase at 9am on 9/2 PT (see table below for those who qualify for early access). Even better news: It is confirmed that all four tables in this pack will be the “Deluxe-style” tables. In fact, it was stated during the call that in Dinosaur Dynasty, the T-Rex will pick up the ball and put it on the rail. The volcano will periodically erupt, shaking the table making it more challenging to play and many more similar examples were shared.

- When will the deals info be made available? A: Deals info will be available for all customers at 9am PT/11am CT/12pm ET on 9/2 on the AtGames E-Store. However, as a tradition to honor early purchasers and loyal customers to our products and service, we will offer ALU 1.0 customers and LPO members early access to make pre-order on ALP Micro and purchase Natural History Pinball Pack on 9/1 starting from 9 am PT to 6pm PT by sending them purchase links via email on 8/31.
- Will I see coming soon of NOD-A deals on the E-Store before NOD-A starts? A: No. Deals info will only be available for all customers at 9am PT/11am CT/12pm ET on 9/2 on the AtGames E-Store. Please be encouraged to review the deals list on the page 8-13 in this deck to prepare for your NOD-A purchase.
- Re: The ALP Micro (Legends Pinball Micro) NOD-A pre-order deal “Buy one ALP Micro, get one customized VIBS for free”, how much should I pay for pre-order? What will be the shipping cost for ALP Micro? Do I need to pay additional shipping cost for the free VIBS? A: The reservation fee is only $50.00 non-refundable. When available to ship, pre-order customers will be notified to pay the remaining balance $279.99 plus $50.00 shipping/handling cost. The customized VIBS is a free gift for customer who makes pre-order for ALP Micro. No need to pay additional shipping for the VIBS.
- When will ALP Micro be available to ship to the pre-order customers? A: The goods will be shipped from China by 9/30 and estimated to hit the US warehouse by 11/30. After warehouse processing, we plan to deliver to pre-order customers starting from 12/10. First come first serve; hope to deliver all before Xmas. However, there’s a high possibility that the timeline will be impacted by US port congestions or pandemic outbreak. Will keep customers updated.
- Can the VIBS board for ALP be compatible with ALP Micro? A: No. ALP Micro needs a different VIBS.
- How much should I pay for preorder for Data East and Activision Game Packs? A: NOD-A preorder offers special promo price $15.00. Customers who preorder the game pack during NOD-A needs to pay full promo price $15.00 that is nonrefundable.
- Are all the pinball volumes/packs and game packs universal / compatible to all Legends arcade devices? A: They are all compatible to all Legends arcade devices except for the Zaccaria Pinball Volume 5. Zaccaria Pinball Volume 5 currently supports only Legends Pinball and Legends Core Max.
- What happens if items are sold out during NOD-A? A: The items will be turned to reservation. Customers to pay $50 nonrefundable down-payment to reserve the orders.
- There are three Taito Pinball Volumes and three Taito Pinball Packs. Are they different? A: No. They are actually the same pinball tables with the same prices. The only difference is the volume and pack names/images on the E-Store and on the menu of AppStore X. We keep Taito Pinball Volumes for customers who made partial purchase(s) among the three Volumes and want to purchase the remaining Taito Pinball Volume(s).
- Following Zaccaria/Gottlieb tables onboarded on ArcadeNet, will the new Natural History Pinball Pack, Activision Game Pack and Data East Game Packs be onboarded on ArcadeNet? A: Yes. ArcadeNet users will enjoy them on ArcadeNet as we plan to onboard them in Q4.
- When can Dr. Seuss Pinball Tables be available? A: We will make it available by Xmas. LPO members will have early access to be gifted with the Dr. Seuss table codes as Xmas gift.
- What is the status of Legends BitLCD? A: BitLCD will be available to ship in early September for those who reserved.
- What is the status of QuadPlay Control Panel? A: QuadPlay will be available to ship in early November for those who reserved.

AtGames has announced that classic Dr. Seuss properties will be featured in NEW virtual pinball tables for the Legends Arcade family of products. These tables will be available in late 2022.

There will be a new firmware release only for the Legends Core Max (LCM) to address some issues reported by the community. This update will be invitation-based and sent to LCM owners via e-mail, Legends Mail and on-device notifications regarding the firmware update. Non-LCM devices will not notice nor receive this update.
A few of the Highlights:
- Corrected the issue of the LCM not being recognized as an ALP/LCM when downloading table packs from AppStoreX (Fixes device sharing between ALP and LCM).
- Fixes Game Pad input latency/lag issue.
- The internal 16GB storage can be used for AppStoreX downloads. This is a great new feature in that it allows you to install your pinball tables directly to the device, as well as CoinOpsX. Your games for CoinOpsX will still need to be installed to a USB Flash Drive.
- New apps management feature which will remove the login requirement for CoinOpsX and AOX. This great new feature will mean you can play CoinOpsX games without needing an internet connection!
- The expected update timeframe: June 16th-30th.

FAQs
- What are the differences between the ALP and the ALP Micro? The chipset used are identical. Except for the overall outlook and screen sizes. Everything else will function the same.
- Will my ALP game packs I purchased and linked to my Legends ID work on the ALP Micro? Yes, there will be no difference and the tables will work as if being installed on the ALP.
- Will all AtGames first party accessories work with it? Yes, all first party accessories are compatible, including: Legends GamePad, BitPixel versions (they are compatible but will not fit being mounted to the ALP Micro), etc. All connection ports are moved to the back.
- What if I don’t have room on my counter? AtGames will be releasing legs as accessories that can be installed to allow for floor set-up.
- If my OTG PC is setup for my ALP, will it work the same if I connect it to the ALP Micro? Yes, since the ALP Micro uses the same internal hardware as the ALP, it will be easily swappable. However, you will need to install the VIBS board and some display adjustments may need to be performed to account for the screen size differences.
- How much does it weigh? Approximately 36lbs. and will be in one, single, well-packed box.

AtGames Live Chat system experienced an outage during the week of April 25th, which was reported through their social media channels. All support requests during this time were through our contact form and standard ticketing system. To safeguard against future outages, AtGames is looking into improved and expanded Live Chat integration.

New Retailers
- Many of their community members have requested they add Legends Arcade Family product availability to their favorite retailers. AtGames is meeting that target by expanding our relationships with current and new retailers this year.
- AtGames will be selling Legends devices through Amazon. This will be the first phase of their collaboration with Amazon and will focus only on devices and accessories, no digital pinball software. The other retailers and their respective estimated launch date are below, and will give a shout out then. Sam’s Club will be in-stock again around the end of May as well.

Since its roll-out on 3/28 they have had over 200 Live Chat conversations with an average handling time of 0h 13m, further reducing ticket volume trends and average wait times for a support response.
Reminder: New Contact form now includes live chat support with one of their customer service agents. Live chat support is available Mon-Fri 9AM-5PM PT / 11AM-7PM CT / 12PM-8PM ET (excluding holidays).

01-27-2022 – AtGames has released a new firmware version for the Legends GamePad which provides haptic support for Zaccaria and TAITO Pinball tables. While not related to the new haptic feature, CoinOpsX also did work fine during my testing. You can find full instructions on how to update your Legends GamePad here.
01-01-2022 – A new firmware update was recently released, v5.64.0. There were some initial issues connecting to ArcadeNet, however those issues appear to have been resolved. The new update includes the implementation of a new Legends ID which will replace entering your e-mail address for logging in. Check out the FAQs here for more details.

Legends Ultimate Racer
News from 9/8/2021
On the Super Game Room Dudes National Owners Day Awards show, the winners of the NOD-A contests were revealed. Congratulations to all the winners! In addition, a new product that is in-development was announced – the Legends Ultimate Racer! No pricing or release date has been set as the unit is in on-going development and prototype stages. However, as with all Legends products it will be an open and connected platform. That is, not only will you be able to play the built-in racing games but you’ll be able to connect a PC and it will optionally support multiple HDMI displays (2nd and 3rd monitor).

Thank you all for the response to the surprise Legends Ultimate Racer reveal on the Super GameRoom Dudes show during NOD-A (https://youtu.be/_dolgEGFgSs?t=1699). Since it’s still in the prototype phase, we will continue to take all of your feedback into consideration as we head towards an eventual release. We also wanted to answer some of the more common questions that have popped up.
The AliExpress seller who has, in the past, distributed versions similar to the prototype shown, is an AtGames vendor and supply chain partner. We awarded them the contract a year ago through an RFP process in China that involved multiple supply chain partners. In conjunction with them, we have built the test-bed prototype running with our team’s hardware and software. That means that yes, this is fully integrated into the Legends Arcade Family, Legends Universal Firmware, and all of the features of the Legends Arcade Platform.
We have worked with the contractors to develop a lab model for a new line of racing cabinets and are customizing it to fit our ecosystem, making it a true Open and Connected racing arcade like our other Legends Arcade Family machines. What we showed was an in-progress engineering sample and gave an insight into the status and general direction. Over the past year, we have gained valuable insight that will help prepare us for upcoming iterations.
The spreadsheet that was shown and that we have included here in image form is the result of that year-long study and has some notable features not yet demonstrated, including the ability to drive three (3) displays. The current version of the machine is also running the latest Legends Universal Firmware, v5.49, and will continue to be updated in parallel. To answer the other question, the individuals shown in the video were at least six feet tall. We’re designing this to more comfortably fit a much wider height range than similar types of these devices.
In any case, we hope that you appreciate our openness and understand that our best practice “RFP with supply-chain partners” approach is what will allow us to bring the best engineering teams together to make a robust home arcade machine with all of the best features at a price that our community can afford. We will not place a time limit or deadline on the process and will continue to “tinker” as we work with our partner(s) on customization. The Legends Ultimate Racer will be built for long-term enjoyment and become another important piece of our growing Legends Arcade Family.

The following is the latest exciting news from AtGames. This section includes 10 new Magic Pixel/Zaccaria Deluxe Tables (animated characters), the VIBS (i.e. Rachael) board updates, ArcadeNet Quarterly Festivals which allow players to win prizes as well as firmware update info.
- Magic Pixel Deluxe Tables – In collaboration with Magic Pixel, AtGames has brought 10 new Zaccaria Deuluxe tables to the platform (check out my YT video of the game-play here). All run at 1080p 60fps on the ALP and were released on May 19th. They are part of the Zaccaria Deluxe Pinball Tables: Volume 5 and priced at $50 USD for all 10 tables. These tables look very impressive and are a high-end premium set of tables which feature animated characters and special 3D effects. These tables are what you might consider Fantasy Tables and may resemble the quality you might expect from other well-known pinball companies in the space (i.e. Zen Studios).
